This is a healthy savory snack to put away those chip/cheetos cravings! I don’t know about your work place but we always have junk! Chips, corn nuts, you-name-it. So I love having my own healthy snacks on hand that are just as delicious, but also come with peace of mind, and feeling good physically after eating them! This is a high protein munch that will get you through that long afternoon 🙂
You need:
-30 oz, 2 cans organic garbanzos, rinsed and drained, then patted dry
-can of coconut oil (or olive oil) spray
-1tbs oregano
-1 tsp parsely
-1tbs crushed red pepper (to taste, that may be too much for some)
-1/2 tsp sea salt
-1/4 tsp black pepper
-1/2 tsp garlic powder
-1/4 tsp tumeric
Spray a foil lined large cookie sheet with coconut or olive oil spray.
Put dry chick peas in a large bowl, spray a few times with coconut oil spray, tossing to lightly coat, then add in your spices! Toss well, turning onto your greased cookie sheet. Pop into preheated oven at 375 for 40min, stir and bake another 10-15, until golden and crunchy!!
Store in a sealed container once cooled, no need to refrigerate. Make great salad toppers or just an anytime snack!
